20 พฤษภาคม 2569 ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สมเด็จพระเจ้าน้องนางเธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณวลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี กรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน วรขัตติยราชนารี องค์ประธานและนายกสภาราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ เสด็จไปยัง ศาลาประชาคมยงใจยุทธ ศาลากลางจังหวัดนครพนม อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครพนม ทรงเยี่ยมหน่วยแพทย์พระราชทานโรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ เพื่อเป็นขวัญกำลังใจแก่เจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ปฏิบัติงาน การนี้ ทรงโปรดให้ทีมแพทย์ พยาบาล และบุคลากรทางการแพทย์โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ ร่วมกับโรงพยาบาลนครพนม และโรงพยาบาลท่าอุเทน ออกหน่วยให้บริการตรวจรักษาโรคทั่วไป ตลอดจนให้คำปรึกษาทางด้านสุขภาพแก่ประชาชนชาวจังหวัดนครพนมและจังหวัดใกล้เคียง พบว่าประชาชนในพื้นที่จังหวัดนครพนมส่วนใหญ่มีปัญหาสุขภาพเกี่ยวกับ โรคระบบหัวใจและหลอดเลือด อันเป็นสาเหตุการเสียชีวิตอันดับ 1 ของคนในจังหวัด
โดยวันนี้ มีผู้เข้ารับบริการ จำนวน 169 คน แบ่งเป็น โรคระบบกล้ามเนื้อ กระดูกและข้อ 73 ราย โรคระบบทางเดินอาหาร 27 ราย โรคระบบหัวใจและหลอดเลือด 27 ราย โรคระบบประสาท 24 ราย และโรคระบบทางเดินหายใจ 16 ราย นอกจากนี้ มีผู้ป่วยส่งต่อโรงพยาบาลนครพนม จำนวน 15 ราย จากนั้น เสด็จไปยังพลับพลาทรงงาน พระราชทาน วัคซีนป้องกันโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า จำนวน 500 โดส แก่ปศุสัตว์จังหวัดนครพนม เพื่อนำไปสร้างภูมิคุ้มกันแก่สัตว์กลุ่มเป้าหมาย การนี้ ทรงงานทางสัตวแพทย์ ร่วมกับ ทีมสัตว์แพทย์อาสาจุฬาภรณ์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ เพื่อผ่าตัดทำหมัน ให้กับสัตว์เลี้ยงของประชาชน และสัตว์จรจัดไร้ที่พึ่ง ตามยุทธศาสตร์การดำเนินโครงการ “สัตว์ปลอดโรค คนปลอดภัยจากโรคพิษสุนัขบ้า ตามพระปณิธานฯ ” ทั้งนี้ มีเป้าหมายในการกำจัดและควบคุมการแพร่ระบาดของโรคพิษสุนัขบ้าให้หมดไปจากประเทศไทย
สำหรับหน่วยแพทย์พระราชทานโรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ในครั้งนี้ โปรดให้บูรณาการความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดนครพนม โรงพยาบาลนครพนม สำนักงานพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์จังหวัดนครพนม ให้บริการด้านสุขอนามัยแก่ประชาชนในท้องถิ่นชนบท ด้วยทรงห่วงใยในความเป็นอยู่ของประชาชนชาวไทยในพื้นที่ห่างไกล เพื่อให้ได้รับการบริการด้านการแพทย์และสาธารณสุขอย่างทั่วถึง
HRH Princess Chulabhorn Visits Royal Mobile Medical Unit and Leads Chulabhorn Volunteer Veterinary Initiative in Nakhon Phanom
On May 20, 2026, Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, President of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, Chancellor of Chulabhorn Royal Academy Council, and Acting Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, traveled to the Yong Jai Yuth Pavilion at the Nakhon Phanom Provincial Hall in Mueang District, Nakhon Phanom Province. Her Royal Highness visited the Royal Mobile Medical Unit from Chulabhorn Hospital to boost the morale of the operating staff and medical personnel.
For this royal mission, Her Royal Highness graciously commanded medical teams, nurses, and healthcare personnel from Chulabhorn Hospital to collaborate with Nakhon Phanom Hospital and Tha Uthen Hospital. Together, they established a mobile clinic providing free general medical check-ups and health consultations to residents of Nakhon Phanom and neighboring provinces.
The medical unit reported that cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of mortality among local residents. A total of 169 patients received medical attention at the mobile unit, categorized by symptoms as follows:
- Musculoskeletal, bone, and joint disorders: 73 cases
- Gastrointestinal system diseases: 27 cases
- Cardiovascular system diseases: 27 cases
- Neurological system disorders: 24 cases
- Respiratory system diseases: 16 cases Additionally, 15 patients with severe or complex conditions were referred to Nakhon Phanom Hospital for advanced treatment.
Following the medical unit visit, Her Royal Highness proceeded to the working pavilion, where she graciously presented 500 doses of rabies vaccine to the Nakhon Phanom Provincial Livestock Officer to immunize target animal populations in the area. Her Royal Highness then performed veterinary surgical procedures alongside the Chulabhorn Volunteer Veterinary Team from Kasetsart University, providing sterilization services for both pets and stray animals. This veterinary initiative aligns with the strategic framework of the “Disease-Free Animals, Safe-from-Rabies Humans according to the Royal Desire” project. The project’s ultimate goal is to completely eradicate and control the outbreak of rabies within Thailand.
The Chulabhorn Hospital Royal Mobile Medical Unit integrated its operations with local agencies, including the Nakhon Phanom Provincial Public Health Office, Nakhon Phanom Hospital, and the Nakhon Phanom Provincial Office of Social Development and Human Security. This collaborative effort reflects Her Royal Highness’s profound care for the well-being of Thai citizens residing in remote rural areas, ensuring they receive comprehensive and equitable access to medical and public health services.
