วันพุธที่ ๒๐ พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. ๒๕๖๙ ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ นายแพทย์รัชตะ รัชตะนาวิน รักษาการรองเลขาธิการราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์และโรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ นำโดย ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. แพทย์หญิงรวงผึ้ง สุทเธนทร์ รักษาการรองเลขาธิการราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์, รองศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์สุรศักดิ์ ลีลาอุดมลิปิ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ดนุพล นันทจิต ผู้อำนวยการสำนักบริหารวิจัยและนวัตกรรม และ นายแพทย์ชุมอรรจน์ พันธุเณร รักษาการรองผู้อำนวยการสำนักบริหารวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ร่วมให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหารและเจ้าหน้าที่จากคณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และศูนย์วิจัยคลินิก SICRES ในโอกาสเข้าเยี่ยมชมการดำเนินงานด้านการบริหารงานวิจัยคลินิก ณ ห้องประชุมชั้น ๗ งานบริหารวิจัยคลินิก สำนักบริหารวิจัยและนวัตกรรม อาคารกรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ (๔๐๐ เตียง) พร้อมประชุมหารือด้านการพัฒนางานวิจัยทางคลินิกเพื่อส่งเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านงานวิจัยทางคลินิกและพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านการดำเนินงานวิจัยทางคลินิกในประเทศไทยระหว่างคณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลและราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ในการสนับสนุนประเทศไทยสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางด้านการวิจัยทางคลินิกชั้นนำในระดับภูมิภาคเอเซียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ในอนาคต
ในโอกาสนี้ คณะผู้บริหารคณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล นำโดยศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์อภิชาติ อัศวมงคลกุล คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล, ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.นายแพทย์ยงยุทธ ศิริวัฒนอักษร ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลศิริราช และคณะรองผู้อำนวยการ ได้แก่ รองศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์สรวิศ วีรวรรณ, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ธีรวุฒิ ธรรมวิบูลย์ศรี และ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.แพทย์หญิง พจมาน พิศาลประภา และคณะผู้บริหารศูนย์วิจัยคลินิก SICRES นำโดย ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ แพทย์หญิงกุลกัญญา โชคไพบูลย์กิจ ที่ปรึกษาศูนย์วิจัยคลินิก, รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.นายแพทย์พงศกร ตันติลีปิกร ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์วิจัยคลินิก และรศ.พญ.สมฤดี ฉัตรสิริเจริญกุล รองผู้อำนวยการศูนย์วิจัยคลินิก พร้อมคณะฯ ได้รับฟังการบรรยายและเยี่ยมชมศูนย์วิจัยคลินิก ราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างปรับปรุงการขยายการดำเนินงาน และเยี่ยมชมอาคารโรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ (๔๐๐ เตียง) ซึ่งเป็นสถานที่ศึกษาวิจัยที่มีความพร้อมในการดำเนินการโครงการวิจัยเชิงทดลองทางคลินิก จากนั้นได้สรุปการศึกษาดูงานและประชุมหารือร่วมกัน ณ อาคารวิจัยและการเรียนรู้เฉลิมพระเกียรติ ๖๐ พรรษา เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณ์
ทั้งนี้ การศึกษาดูงานและประชุมหารือร่วมกันในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นหมุดหมายแห่งความร่วมมืออันสำคัญระหว่างราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ และคณะแพทยศาสตร์ศิริราชพยาบาล มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในการบูรณาการองค์ความรู้และพัฒนาศักยภาพดำเนินงานด้านการวิจัยทางคลินิกในประเทศไทย รวมไปถึงเพื่อส่งเสริมและสร้างความเชื่อมั่นในการเป็นสถานที่ศึกษาวิจัยเชิงทดลองทางคลินิกที่มีศักยภาพสูง รวมถึงขยายความร่วมมือด้านงานวิจัยทางคลินิกระหว่างสองสถาบัน อันไม่เพียงแต่จะช่วยขับเคลื่อนการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมทางการแพทย์ไทยให้รุดหน้าอย่างยั่งยืนเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นรากฐานอันมั่นคงในการยกระดับมาตรฐานการรักษาพยาบาล การเข้าถึงยาและผลิตภัณฑ์วิจัยใหม่ ๆ เพื่อสร้างเสริมสุขภาวะและคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นให้แก่ประชาชนชาวไทยและมวลมนุษยชาติต่อไปในอนาคตอย่างยั่งยืน
Chulabhorn Royal Academy Welcomes Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and SICRES to Advance Clinical Research Collaboration and Elevate Thai Healthcare Globally
BANGKOK, May 20, 2026, Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA) welcomed executives and officials from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and the Siriraj Institute of Clinical Research (SICRES). The visit aimed to foster institutional collaboration in clinical research, enhance medical capabilities, and position Thailand as a leading clinical research hub in Southeast Asia.
Professor Emeritus Rajata Rajatanavin, M.D., Acting Deputy Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, alongside executive members of CRA and Chulabhorn Hospital—including Professor Dr. Ruengpung Sutthent, M.D., Acting Deputy Secretary-General of CRA; Associate Professor Surasak Leela-udomlipi, M.D., Acting Director of Chulabhorn Hospital; Associate Professor Danupol Nantajit, Ph.D., Director of the Bureau of Research and Innovation Administration; and Chumart Phantunane, M.D., Acting Deputy Director of the Bureau of Research and Innovation Management—warmly received the visiting delegation.
The meeting took place at the Clinical Research Administration Office, located on the 7th floor of the Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana Building at Chulabhorn Hospital (400-bed facility). The discussions centered on strategic clinical research development, operational capacity building, and strengthening bilateral ties to drive Thailand toward regional leadership in clinical trials and medical innovation.
The visiting delegation from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital was led by Professor Apichat Asavamongkolkul, M.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, and Professor Dr. Yongyut Sirivatanauksorn, M.D., Director of Siriraj Hospital, accompanied by Associate Directors: Associate Professor Sorawit Weerawan, M.D., Assistant Professor Teerawut Thamybnoonsri, M.D., and Associate Professor Dr. Podjawan Pisalprapa, M.D.
The SICRES leadership team was led by Professor Emeritus Kulkanya Chokephaibulkit, M.D., Advisor to SICRES; Associate Professor Dr. Pongsakorn Tantilipikorn, M.D., Director of SICRES; and Associate Professor Somruedee Chatsiricharoenkul, M.D., Deputy Director of SICRES.
During the visit, the delegation attended briefings and toured the CRA Clinical Research Center, which is currently undergoing expansion. They also visited the 400-bed Chulabhorn Hospital building, a state-of-the-art facility fully equipped to support advanced clinical trials. The itinerary concluded with a joint summary and strategic discussion session at the 60th Birthday Anniversary HRH Princess Chulabhorn Research and Learning Building.
This visit marks a crucial milestone in the partnership between Chulabhorn Royal Academy and the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. By integrating knowledge and reinforcing confidence in their high-capacity clinical trial sites, the two institutions are not only propelling Thai medical research and innovation forward but also laying a solid foundation to improve healthcare standards. This collaboration will ultimately enhance public access to novel drugs and investigational products, contributing to the sustainable health and well-being of Thai citizens and global community.
