วันพฤหัสบดีที่ ๒๙ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๙ ราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ จัดพิธีสวดพระพุทธมนต์ถวายเป็นพระกุศลแด่ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สมเด็จพระเจ้าน้องนางเธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณวลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี กรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน วรขัตติยราชนารี องค์ประธานและนายกสภาราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ผู้ทรงก่อตั้งโรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ เนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ ๑๗ ปี โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ ณ ห้อง Convention Hall ชั้น ๖ อาคารกรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ ราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ เขตหลักสี่ กรุงเทพมหานคร
การนี้ ได้รับเมตตาจาก สมเด็จพระมหารัชมงคลมุนี เจ้าคณะใหญ่หนกลาง เป็นประธานสงฆ์ พร้อมด้วยพระสงฆ์จากวัดไตรมิตรวิทยารามวรวิหาร จำนวน ๑๐ รูป ร่วมพิธี โดยมีศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ นายแพทย์รัชตะ รัชตะนาวิน รักษาการรองเลขาธิการราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร แพทย์ พยาบาล บุคลากร และนักศึกษาราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์เข้าร่วมพิธี ทั้งนี้ เพื่อแสดงออกถึงความจงรักภักดีและน้อมสำนึกในพระกรุณาธิคุณของ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สมเด็จพระเจ้าน้องนางเธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณวลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี กรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน วรขัตติยราชนารี ที่ทรงมีพระปณิธานอันแน่วแน่ในการช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วย โดยเฉพาะผู้ป่วยมะเร็ง ให้ได้รับโอกาสเข้าถึงการรักษาพยาบาลที่มีคุณภาพ ตลอดจนทรงมุ่งมั่นพัฒนางานด้านการแพทย์ การวิจัย และการบริการสุขภาพ เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน จากนั้น คณะผู้บริหารและบุคลากรราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ได้ร่วมรับฟังพระธรรมเทศนา เรื่อง “รักษากาย เยียวยาใจ เติมพลังชีวิตด้วยธรรมะ” โดยพระธรรมวิทยากร พระครูธรรมรัต จากวัดญาณเวศกวัน อำเภอสามพราน จังหวัดนครปฐม เพื่อเป็นสิริมงคลและน้อมนำหลักธรรมมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการดำเนินชีวิตและการปฏิบัติงาน ต่อจากนั้น คณะผู้บริหารราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ได้มอบของที่ระลึกให้แก่ผู้ป่วย ณ หอผู้ป่วยในอาคารกรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ เพื่อส่งมอบกำลังใจและความห่วงใยต่อผู้ป่วย อันสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการดูแลรักษาและให้ความสำคัญกับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้รับบริการ พร้อมกันนี้ ภายในงานยังเปิดให้บุคลากรราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ร่วมบริจาคโลหิต ถวายเป็นพระกุศลเนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ ๑๗ ปี โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ ราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ด้วย
โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ จัดตั้งขึ้นจากพระปณิธานอันแน่วแน่ของ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สมเด็จพระเจ้าน้องนางเธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณวลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี กรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน วรขัตติยราชนารี องค์ประธานและนายกสภาราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ โดยเปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่วันที่ ๒๙ ตุลาคม พ.ศ.๒๕๕๒ ต่อมาทรงมีพระเมตตาขยายขอบข่ายการให้บริการทางการแพทย์ของโรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ให้ครอบคลุมการรักษาทุกโรค ตลอดจนจัดตั้งราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ เพื่อเป็นศูนย์กลางการเรียนการสอนและการวิจัยที่สร้างบัณฑิตและพัฒนาบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่มีความสำคัญและตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของประเทศ ตลอดระยะเวลา ๑๗ ปี โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ ได้ดำเนินภารกิจด้านการแพทย์และการสาธารณสุขอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมุ่งพัฒนาศักยภาพการรักษาพยาบาล การวิจัยทางการแพทย์และการให้บริการสุขภาพที่มีคุณภาพ เพื่อให้ประชาชนสามารถเข้าถึงการบริการทางการแพทย์ที่ได้มาตรฐาน พร้อมดูแลผู้ป่วยด้วยความเอาใจใส่ทั้งด้านร่างกายและจิตใจ การจัดงานครั้งนี้ จึงนับเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการรวมพลังแห่งความจงรักภักดี ความสามัคคี และความมุ่งมั่นของบุคลากรราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ในการสืบสานพระปณิธานและขับเคลื่อนภารกิจด้านการแพทย์และการสาธารณสุข เพื่อประโยชน์สุขของประชาชนอย่างยั่งยืนสืบไป
Chulabhorn Royal Academy Holds Merit-Making Ceremony and Buddhist Chanting to Mark the 17th Anniversary of Chulabhorn Hospital, Honoring Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn and Continuing Her Royal Vision
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, Chulabhorn Royal Academy held a Buddhist chanting and merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, President and Chairperson of the Council of Chulabhorn Royal Academy and founder of Chulabhorn Hospital, on the occasion of the hospital’s 17th anniversary. The ceremony took place in the Convention Hall on the 6th floor of the Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana Building at Chulabhorn Hospital, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, Lak Si District, Bangkok.
The ceremony was graciously presided over by Somdet Phra Maha Ratchamongkhon Muni, Chief of the Central Sangha Administration, who led ten monks from Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan in the religious observances. Professor Emeritus Dr. Ratchata Ratchatanavin, Acting Deputy Secretary-General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, presided over the ceremony on behalf of the Academy, joined by the Academy’s executives, physicians, nurses, staff members, and students.
The event was held as an expression of loyalty and profound gratitude for the boundless royal benevolence of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, whose unwavering royal commitment has been dedicated to helping patients, particularly those with cancer, gain access to quality medical treatment. Her Royal Highness has also remained steadfast in advancing medical science, research, and healthcare services to improve the quality of life of the Thai people.
Following the ceremony, the Academy’s executives and staff attended a Dhamma sermon entitled “Healing the Body, Nurturing the Mind, and Replenishing Life’s Energy Through the Teachings of the Buddha,” delivered by Phra Khru Thammarat, a Dhamma preacher from Wat Yanawesakawan in Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province. The sermon offered an auspicious occasion for participants to reflect on Buddhist teachings and apply their principles to both daily life and professional practice.
Subsequently, executives of Chulabhorn Royal Academy presented commemorative gifts to patients in the inpatient wards of the Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana Building at Chulabhorn Hospital, conveying encouragement, compassion, and heartfelt concern for their well-being. This gesture reflected the Academy’s enduring commitment to providing attentive care and prioritizing the quality of life of those it serves.
In addition, Chulabhorn Royal Academy staff members were invited to donate blood as an act of merit dedicated to Her Royal Highness on the occasion of Chulabhorn Hospital’s 17th anniversary.
Seventeen Years of Advancing Medical Care and Public Health
Chulabhorn Hospital was established through the unwavering royal vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, President and Chairperson of the Council of Chulabhorn Royal Academy. The hospital officially commenced operations on October 29, 2009.
Through Her Royal Highness’s gracious initiative, the hospital subsequently expanded the scope of its medical services to encompass the treatment of a broad range of diseases. Chulabhorn Royal Academy was also established to serve as a center for education, teaching, and research, dedicated to producing graduates and developing medical personnel whose expertise is essential to meeting the healthcare needs of the nation.
Throughout its 17 years of service, Chulabhorn Hospital has continuously pursued its mission in medicine and public health, with a strong emphasis on enhancing clinical capabilities, advancing medical research, and delivering high-quality healthcare services. Its commitment is to ensure that the public has access to medical care that meets established standards, while providing patients with compassionate and attentive care that addresses both their physical and emotional well-being.
