กรุงเทพมหานคร, ๒ มิถุนายน ๒๕๖๙ – มูลนิธิศรีสวางควัฒน ในพระอุปถัมภ์ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สมเด็จพระเจ้าน้องนางเธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณวลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี กรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน วรขัตติยราชนารี ร่วมกับ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ ราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมการตรวจสุขภาพก่อนการเดินทางให้แก่พระสงฆ์ แม่ชี และฆราวาสจิตอาสา ในโครงการ “เตรียมพระธรรมทูตจิตอาสา สายประเทศอินเดีย-เนปาล ครั้งที่ ๙ ประจำปีพุทธศักราช ๒๕๖๙” ณ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์สุรศักดิ์ ลีลาอุดมลิปิ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ และกรรมการมูลนิธิศรีสวางควัฒน ในพระอุปถัมภ์ฯ เป็นประธานในพิธี โดยการจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ จัดขึ้นเพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติและน้อมถวายเป็นพระราชกุศล เนื่องในโอกาสวันคล้ายวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสุทิดา พัชรสุธาพิมลลักษณ พระบรมราชินี ทรงเจริญพระชนมพรรษาครบ ๔ รอบ ในวันที่ ๓ มิถุนายน พุทธศักราช ๒๕๖๙ โดยมีพระสงฆ์ แม่ชี และฆราวาสจิตอาสา เข้ารับการตรวจสุขภาพในครั้งนี้รวมทั้งสิ้น ๗๓ รูป/ท่าน
โครงการเตรียมพระธรรมทูตจิตอาสา สายประเทศอินเดีย-เนปาล ครั้งที่ ๙ ประจำปีพุทธศักราช ๒๕๖๙ ริเริ่มและจัดขึ้นโดย พระพรหมวชิรโพธิวงศ์ เจ้าอาวาสวัดไทยพุทธคยา และหัวหน้าคณะพระธรรมทูต สายประเทศอินเดีย-เนปาล โดยมี ท่านเจ้าคุณพระวิเทศวัชราจารย์ เลขานุการหัวหน้าพระธรรมทูตสายประเทศอินเดีย-เนปาล และเจ้าอาวาสวัดสิทธารถราชมณเทียร ประเทศอินเดีย เป็นหัวหน้าโครงการฯ ทั้งนี้ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้แก่พระสงฆ์ แม่ชี และฆราวาสจิตอาสา ในการพัฒนาศักยภาพเป็นบุคลากรผู้เผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนา และปฏิบัติศาสนกิจในแดนพุทธภูมิ ซึ่งเน้นการฝึกปฏิบัติงานจริงในการดูแลผู้แสวงบุญ ควบคู่ไปกับการปฏิบัติธรรม ณ สังเวชนียสถาน ในประเทศอินเดียและเนปาล ตลอดระยะเวลาการดำเนินโครงการประมาณ ๘ เดือน ถึง ๑ ปี โดยผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆ ตลอดหลักสูตร
อนึ่ง การเดินทางและปฏิบัติศาสนกิจในแดนพุทธภูมิ ทั้งประเทศอินเดียและเนปาลนั้น มีความยากลำบาก โดยเฉพาะโอกาสในการเข้าถึงบริการทางการแพทย์และสาธารณสุข ด้วยความตระหนักถึงความสำคัญในเรื่องดังกล่าว และเพื่อสนับสนุนโครงการเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนาของคณะพระธรรมทูตฯ มูลนิธิศรีสวางควัฒน ในพระอุปถัมภ์ฯ และโรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ จึงได้ร่วมกันจัดบริการตรวจสุขภาพเชิงรุกในครั้งนี้ขึ้น เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการได้ทราบถึงภาวะความเสี่ยงและแนวโน้มของการเกิดโรคต่าง ๆ ของตนเอง นำไปสู่การดูแลรักษาและป้องกันได้อย่างทันท่วงทีก่อนออกเดินทาง นอกจากนี้ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาภรณ์ ราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ยังได้มอบชุดกระเป๋ายาพระราชทานจาก ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สมเด็จพระเจ้าน้องนางเธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณวลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี กรมพระศรีสวางควัฒน วรขัตติยราชนารี องค์ประธานและนายกสภาราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ พร้อมทั้งมอบยารักษาโรคที่จำเป็น เพื่อให้คณะพระธรรมทูตสายประเทศอินเดีย-เนปาล นำติดตัวไปใช้ในการดูแลรักษาอาการเจ็บป่วยในเบื้องต้นระหว่างปฏิบัติศาสนกิจ ซึ่งการได้รับพระราชทานยาในครั้งนี้ นำมาซึ่งความปลาบปลื้มปีติและซาบซึ้งในพระกรุณาธิคุณแก่คณะผู้จัดงานและผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการอย่างหาที่สุดมิได้

Srisavangavadhana Foundation, in Collaboration with Chulabhorn Hospital, CRA, Hosts Health Check-Up Event for “The 9th Volunteer Dhamma Dhoot Bhikkhus to India-Nepal” to Honor and Celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday
BANGKOK, 2 June 2026 – The Srisavangavadhana Foundation under Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, in collaboration with Chulabhorn Hospital, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, organized a pre-travel health check-up event for Buddhist monks, mae chis (nuns), and lay volunteers participating in “The 9th Volunteer Dhamma Dhoot Bhikkhus to India-Nepal Project for the Year 2026.” The event, held at Chulabhorn Hospital, was presided over by Associate Professor Surasak Leelaudomlipi M.D., Acting Director of Chulabhorn Hospital and Committee Member of the Srisavangavadhana Foundation.
This initiative was organized to honor and dedicate royal merit on the auspicious occasion of the 4th Cycle (48th) Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida on 3 June 2026. A total of 73 participants, including monks, mae chis, and lay volunteers, underwent the health screening.
The 9th Volunteer Dhamma Dhoot Bhikkhus to India-Nepal Project for the Year 2026 was initiated and established by Phrabrahmawongvachiraphodi, Abbot of Wat Thai Buddhagaya and Chief of the Thai Dhamma Dhoot (Missionary Monks) in India and Nepal. Phra Vitheshvachiracharn, Secretary to the Chief of the Thai Dhamma Dhoot in India-Nepal and Abbot of Wat Siddhartharajamundier in India, serves as the project director.
The primary objective of this project is to prepare monks, mae chis, and lay volunteers by enhancing their capabilities as Buddhist missionaries. Participants will engage in missionary work in the Holy Buddhist Circuit (Phutthabhumi), emphasizing hands-on training in caring for Buddhist pilgrims, alongside practicing Dhamma at the actual sites of the Four Holy Sanctuaries (Samvejanthiyathan) in India and Nepal. The project spans approximately 8 months to 1 year, and participants are exempt from all expenses throughout the entire course.
Proactive Health Screening and the Presentation of Royal Medical Kits
Traveling and performing missionary duties in the Holy Buddhist Circuit across India and Nepal can be highly challenging, particularly regarding access to medical services and public healthcare. Recognizing these difficulties and aiming to support the Buddhist propagation project of the Dhamma Dhoot Committee, the Sri Savangavadhana Foundation and Chulabhorn Hospital, CRA jointly organized this proactive health screening. This allows participants to be aware of their individual health risks and potential underlying conditions, ensuring timely medical care and prevention before their departure.
Furthermore, Chulabhorn Hospital, Chulabhorn Royal Academy, presented Royal Medical Kits graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana, President and Chairperson of the Council of Chulabhorn Royal Academy. Essential medicines were also provided to the Dhamma Dhoot Committee to carry with them for basic medical treatments during their missionary service. The royal bestowal of these medical kits brought profound joy and immense gratitude to the organizing committee and all project participants.
