กรุงเทพฯ, ๑๐ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๙ – ราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ ร่วมกับ มูลนิธิรางวัลสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณ์ ในพระอุปถัมภ์ฯ จัดงานประชุมวิชาการรางวัลสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณ์ ครั้งที่ ๓ (The 3rd Princess Chulabhorn Award Conference) ภายใต้แนวคิด THAILAND AGAINST CANCER AS ONE “Genomic medicine” เพื่อร่วมอัปเดตความก้าวหน้าทางการแพทย์และการสาธารณสุขไทยในการนำนวัตกรรมข้อมูลพันธุกรรม (Genomics) และเทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) มาพลิกโฉมการวินิจฉัย การรักษา และการป้องกันโรคมะเร็ง โดยมี ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ นายแพทย์รัชตะ รัชตะนาวิน ประธานกรรมการมูลนิธิรางวัลสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณ์ ในพระอุปถัมภ์ฯ และรักษาการรองเลขาธิการราชวิทยาลัยจุฬาภรณ์ เป็นประธานเปิดงานประชุม พร้อมด้วย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ทัศนา บุญทอง เลขาธิการมูลนิธิรางวัลสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณ์ ในพระอุปถัมภ์ฯ และรักษาการคณบดีคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์อัครราชกุมารี ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจากแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และนักวิจัยชั้นนำระดับประเทศมาร่วมเจาะลึกใน ๕ ประเด็นไฮไลท์สำคัญ ประกอบด้วย:
- Genomic Thailand: Where Are We Now? ร่วมสำรวจความคืบหน้าของ “โครงการจีโนมิกส์ประเทศไทย” โครงการวิจัยและขับเคลื่อนระดับชาติในการสร้างฐานข้อมูลพันธุกรรมขนาดใหญ่ของคนไทย เพื่อนำข้อมูลดีเอ็นเอมาใช้ประโยชน์จริงในการแพทย์แม่นยำ (Precision Medicine) ศึกษาวิธีรักษาที่เหมาะสมกับผู้ป่วยชาวไทยแต่ละกลุ่มรวมถึงผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็ง โดย ศาสตราจารย์นายแพทย์มานพ พิทักษ์ภากร
- Future of Cancer Research in Thailand เปิดผลงานวิจัยล่าสุดที่จะกำหนดทิศทางการศึกษาโรคมะเร็งในประเทศไทย ซึ่งเป็นหัวใจสำคัญในการพัฒนาเครื่องมือวินิจฉัยและแนวทางการรักษาที่เหมาะสมกับบริบทของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งชาวไทยในอนาคต โดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สมพลนารถ สัมปัตตะวนิช, รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. นายแพทย์ วิทูร ชินสว่างวัฒนกุล และ รองศาสตราจารย์พิเศษ ดร. แพทย์หญิง อนุสสรา ประยงค์รัตน์
- AI in Oncology เจาะลึกบทบาทของปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ในการเข้ามาปฏิวัติวงการมะเร็งวิทยา ตั้งแต่การนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในกระบวนการฝึกอบรมบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่ดูแลผู้ป่วยมะเร็งไปจนถึงการเพิ่มความแม่นยำและรวดเร็วในการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วย พร้อมวิเคราะห์ข้อจำกัดที่ต้องพึงระวัง โดย นายแพทย์ศุภวิชญ์ ตั้งปนิธานดี
- Genomics for Everyone: From Screening, Prevention and Precision Care to Agentic AI and Digital Twin มองภาพอนาคตเมื่อจีโนมิกส์ไม่ใช่เรื่องไกลตัวอีกต่อไป แต่เป็นเครื่องมือประเมินความเสี่ยง วางแผนการรักษา ติดตามผล และดูแลไปถึงญาติสายตรง นอกจากนี้ยังเผยความร่วมมือระหว่างศูนย์จีโนมทางการแพทย์และกรมอนามัย ในการนำข้อมูลพันธุกรรมมาออกแบบพฤติกรรมสุขภาพเฉพาะบุคคล ทั้งอาหาร การออกกำลังกาย และการนอน เพื่อป้องกันโรคไม่ติดต่อเรื้อรังและลดความเสี่ยงมะเร็งในอนาคต โดย ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร. วสันต์ จันทราทิตย์
- Thailand Against Cancer as One III: Panel Discussion เวทีเสวนารวมพลังครั้งสำคัญที่สะท้อนว่าการต่อสู้กับมะเร็งเป็นภารกิจของทุกภาคส่วน ตั้งแต่โรงเรียนแพทย์ที่สร้างองค์ความรู้ สถาบันมะเร็งแห่งชาติ และกระทรวงสาธารณสุขผู้ขับเคลื่อนนโยบายและระบบบริการสาธารณสุขของปรระเทศ สถาบันเฉพาะทางที่เป็นแหล่งนวัตกรรมและการวิจัยระดับสูง ร่วมด้วยภาคประชาชน เอกชน ผู้ป่วย และชุมชน ร่วมอภิปรายโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ เอกภพ สิระชัยนันท์, เรืออากาศเอก นายแพทย์สมชาย ธนะสิทธิชัย และ แพทย์หญิงจอมธนา ศิริไพบูลย์

Chulabhorn Royal Academy and Princess Chulabhorn Award Foundation Organize the 3rd Princess Chulabhorn Award Academic Conference, Uniting Thai Medical Forces to Drive Genomics and AI Innovations for Sustainable Cancer Fight
BANGKOK, 10 July 2026 – Chulabhorn Royal Academy, in cooperation with the Princess Chulabhorn Award Foundation under the Royal Patronage, organized the 3rd Princess Chulabhorn Award Academic Conference under the theme THAILAND AGAINST CANCER AS ONE “Genomic medicine.” The conference aims to update advancements in Thai medicine and public health regarding the implementation of genomic data innovations and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to revolutionize cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Emeritus Rajata Rajatanavin, M.D., Chairman of the Princess Chulabhorn Award Foundation under the Royal Patronage and Acting Deputy Secretary-General of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy. He was joined by Associate Professor Dr. Tassana Boontong Secretary-General of the Princess Chulabhorn Award Foundation under the Royal Patronage and Acting Dean of Princess Agrarajakumari Faculty of Nursing. The event featured distinguished medical experts and leading researchers from across the nation to provide deep insights into 5 key highlight topics:
- Genomic Thailand: Where Are We Now? An exploration of the progress made by “Genomics Thailand,” a national research and implementation initiative dedicated to creating a comprehensive genetic database of the Thai population. This initiative aims to utilize DNA data for Precision Medicine, identifying optimal treatments tailored to specific groups of Thai patients, including cancer patients.

- Future of Cancer Research in Thailand Unveiling the latest research findings that will shape the future landscape of cancer studies in Thailand. - Genomics for Everyone: From Screening, Prevention and Precision Care to Agentic AI and Digital Twin A visionary outlook on how genomics is no longer a distant concept, but an accessible tool for risk assessment, treatment planning, post-treatment monitoring, and the healthcare management of direct relatives. Furthermore, this session highlights the collaboration between the Center for Medical Genomics and the Department of Health in utilizing genetic insights to customize individual health behaviors—including diet, exercise, and sleep—to prevent chronic non-communicable diseases and reduce future cancer risks.

- Thailand Against Cancer as One III: Panel Discussion A significant collaborative forum emphasizing that the fight against cancer is a shared mission across all sectors—ranging from medical schools that generate knowledge, the National Cancer Institute, and the Ministry of Public Health which drive national healthcare policies and delivery systems, to specialized institutes serving as incubators for high-level research and innovation, alongside civil society, the private sector, patients, and communities.
